At IKO, we specialize in miniature linear guides, exemplified by our LWL1 Series. Renowned for its ultra-compact rail lengths, this series delivers exceptional precision and rigidity. We have expanded our LWL line with the introduction of the LWLF2 linear motion guide, which maintains the ultra-low profile of the LWL1 while incorporating tapped rail holes for easier mounting. These features make the LWLF2 an ideal solution for equipment miniaturization.
Consistent with other miniature guides in the LWL series, the LWLF2 incorporates two rows of balls that establish four-point contact with the raceway. This design ensures high stability and precision, even in complex applications with varying load directions. Key features of the LWLF2 include:
Easy installation: The tapped rail allows for bottom mounting, providing enhanced stability as a track rail.
Ultra-compact dimensions: With a sectional height of just 2.5 mm, the LWLF2 offers the lowest profile in the industry. Its track rail width is 2 mm, and the slide unit measures 5 mm in width.
Corrosion resistance: Constructed from stainless steel, the LWLF2 is ideal for wet environments and applications where rust-prevention oils are unsuitable, such as in cleanrooms.
Lightweight: Weighing only 2 grams per 100 mm of rail length, with a slide unit weight of 0.21 grams, the LWLF2 is a lightweight solution.
